WWTK Wednesday

Time once again to let you all know some more about me--in keeping with the questions asked of course.
This weeks questions are asked by Mamarazzi!
And the lucky questions are:
{1} If you could choose a Super Power, what would it be?  The ability to be in two places at once.  Then I could work and be at home with my kiddos.  I like working but I miss my kids when I am at work so it would be nice to be in two places at once--but then I really think about that one and get terrified at the thought of keeping it all straight in my head.  Yikes, maybe I should go for something like super stretchy arms to make clean up and fight intervention easy.

{2} What would be your first frivolous purchase if you were awarded a million dollars, tomorrow? Brand new lap top computer for hubby and I, a new game console for Turbo, and tons of Scooby stuff for Bruiser.

{3} What would be the hardest current luxury for you to give up?  The DSL internet connection.  Just having Blogger down last week showed me how much I love having a line out to the blogging world--it's my sanity.

{4} If you were given a choice between being given great wisdom and great wealth, which would you choose? I think I'd go for great wealth.  It would give me the luxury of not having to work so I could improve on my brain with no guilt.

{5} If you were to be stranded on a deserted island for 100 days what 5 THINGS would you pack?  Five things, hmmm?
  1. My hubby.  Since he is my best friend and the one that does all the fix it stuff, I'd have to have him there to, you know, fix stuff.
  2. A rocking swim suit
  3. Loads of sunscreen
  4. A box filled with books/or a kindle with many books stocked on it (and a solar recharging station).
  5. Survival kit--with matches, food, tent, bedding, cooking utensils, an axe or saw, and fishing gear.

  4. I didn't look at the wealth/wisdom question from that angle. I just figured if I were wise, I'd find a way to get money. :) Happy Wednesday.

  5. clever 5 things list! And I'd take my hubs too :)

  6. Very smart answers. Particularly no 5 as it covers pretty much everything without really breaking the rules. ;)

I feel the same about no. 3.

  7. I feel like a lot of people cheated on the five things, a whole survival KIT?! That alone has more than five things in it, hahaha

Your first answer cracked me up about the stretchy arms and fighting intervention...so true!

And you're totally right about the wealth/wisdom thing. If you've got all the money in the world, you can afford the cash and time it takes to go get a few college degrees!

  8. two places at once... hhmmm... That is a good one!

And I love your survivor kit... a must!

  9. So I'm a total blond and didn't list one single "survival" item on my list lol! I think I'd be screwed on that island!

and love your answer for the 5 things you'd pack.

  12. Maybe I should have taken my hubby as an item too. He would be handy in helping to keep us alive!

    Never even thought of that!

  13. 2 places at once would definitely come in handy.

And yes to high speed internet, it is a must!

  14. Good thinking with the solar recharging station!!! Everybody's been naming electronics they'd bring, but what happens when the batteries die!! ;o) So nice of you to bring the husband though...I'd be okay with a 100 day break from mine if Bradley Cooper were there. ;o)

  15. The DSL is brilliant! Seriously, how the heck did I ever cope with dial up for so long!!??

    Have a FAB day!

  16. Two places at once would be awesome, if it also came with the ability to keep things straight. It would def get confusing!

Sunscreen is definitely a must, good call.

No need for a swimsuit, it's deserted. You modest mice! ;-)

  17. Aw Man! I didn't take my Hubs to the island cuz' it said "things" Now I am wishing I hadn't hamstrung myself with semantic arguments! I love the name of your blog and that you wish you could be in two places at once. I hear ya sistah!

  18. I think we're the only ones who would take our husbands! LOL

  19. Two places at once? I have a hard enough time being in one place at a time. *sigh*

Oooh! I'd buy a laptop. Never had one but always wanted one. Good thinking.

I think I would rip the computer out of the wall if I had to wait for dial-up connection now!

Wealth over wisdom is a hard choice, but you're right...you could have the best education money can buy.

Sunscreen - totally with ya on that one! Oooh...survival kit - it only counts as one thing because it comes as a package. Good thinking!

  20. Very nicely done on the 5 things! I would pack the husband too.

  21. Oh smart lady doing the survival kit as one thing--though it almost seems like cheating ;)

Yes as we are getting ready to move one of the cities we might move to is a bit remote and last night my husband said- I wonder what sort of internet connection we could get out there? And that right there may have made up our mind about that town :)

  22. Cloning has been popular today, I see its value and have to agree.

And what will you be doing with the change?

I'm begining to think I ma super shallow, I never thought if internet as a luxury.

A survival kit is brilliant I think I may go back and add that and my toiletry bag, I forgot shampoo and a toothbrush!

  23. I really like your super power! AMEN!

Get a MAC! They are awesome!

I forget that having internet is a luxury. It just feels like a necessity doesn't it? That's sad.

Wealth. You can pay for smarts! ;)

I should have said a box and then filled it with goodies. That's not cheating. I kind of cheated a little bit.

Thanks for linking up again! xoxo

  27. I like the idea of being in two places at once.

Way to get around the 5 things with the survival kit!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Being in two places at once...love it! But strtchy arms for fight intervention is definitely a good one too!

Great answers and hope you have a good week.

  29. Oh, being in two places would be nice! I LOVE that you listed a solar recharging station for your Kindle! Smart woman, you are!

  30. I am so glad these were hypothetical questions! I'd never survive on an island much less alone with only 5 things. I can't even pack for a vacation without forgetting a necessity!!!
    hugs! Thanks for linkin' up!

  31. You have some really awesome answers! And the survival kit is a brilliant idea, that way you get more things :)

  32. Ohhh two places at once, that would be awesome. Although you are right, too hectic I'm sure.

I want a new computer. A MAC would be awesome, although someone would haveto show me how to use it.

I like your 5 things, smart way to get bunches more within the 5 things. Smart, so smart!
