Confession

Photobucket

Confession time again:
  • I wax my own legs--with the prewaxed strips.
  • Then I only have to shave like once or twice a week.
  • I hate shaving--gel is way too mucky and soap makes me itchy.
  • It's almost time to paint the toes
  • That is if the weather ever warms up enough to wear open toed shoes again.
  • I got hyper irritable on Monday.
  • Nothing the boys did didn't rub against my nerves.
  • I'm gonna blame the weather.
  • I think since the weather has been so crappy I can blame it for what ever I want to.
  • It's time to do the dreaded laundry again.
  • Last time the towels almost won.
  • This week will be different.
  • I will prevail!
  • Next week I will have an 8 year old in the house.
  • I'm not ready for an 8 year old.
  • How did he get to be 8?
  • I've gotta stop blinking, darn it!
  • I confess the end of Bones last night was a surprise.
  • Nick claims that it's the end of the show now.
  • I'm curious to see how they handle it next season.
Go link your confessions up with Glamazon and Mamarazzi.  It makes the weekend way more fun.

  1. Ohhhhhh I can't wax my legs...I shave at least twice a week though. Although, I have to admit when I left Thing 3, I boycotted shaving for like two months, while it sounds gross, it was quite liberating! LOL

  2. I think I will leave the waxing for the brows! LOL Shaving doesn't bother me that much.
I think we can blame the weather, that's my excuse too! Gloomy weather brings gloomy days! Dang those clouds!
    Have a great weekend

  3. I have peach fuzz on my legs, waxing doesn't work on them because it's so fine and short...I've always wanted to try it though!

There's this shaving cream out that I don't think I'M really a fan of, but you might like...it's at Target, it's in a pink bottle called EOS. It's not a gel, it's a cream and it does make my legs QUITE smooth!

  5. I tried prewaxed strips once but it felt so much more painful than warm wax - I'm sure I must have done something wrong.

  6. I am totally afraid to wax; not because of the pain but everything involved. ::shudder:. Happy Friday!

  9. I can't do waxing - don't mind shaving - even though it has become a daily chore (I'm in a new relationship - get off me) - I do laser though!! Yeah, the sensitive area too - I live in South Florida - need to be ready for the weather and yeah IT HURTS!!!

  10. You wax your legs and STILL have to shave a couple times a week?! Wow. I must be super lucky because I only have to shave once a week. Good luck with the laundry - it's a never-ending cycle for me! I still have ironing waiting around from last weekend. *sigh* Happy weekend!

  11. What kind of wax strips do you use? I've always wanted to try it, but I wasn't sure if it would actually work. Happy Friday!

  12. Getting my brows waxed just about kills me, I can't imagine doing my whole leg! Make that legs, can't do one and not the other!

  13. I don't have the nerve to wax my own legs...OUCH! Yes...kids have a way of growing up so fast, don't they? Just wait till you reach those teenage years...that's when things really FLY!

  14. I just can't bring myself to wax my legs. I shave them every time I shower in the summer and once every couple months in the winter (don't judge me).

My toes need some serious attention. They are looking really rough.

We had sun for a few days but now we're back to rain for who knows how long. I do like listening to the sound of it though.

    Happy Friday!

  15. Hmmm, I've never waxed, I should try it. The scrapeing of the legs is getting tiresome. As to the 8 year old, yes they seem to sneak right up on you!

oh and i know how you feel kids grow up WAY too fast. they are not little long enough for my liking.

  18. Wonder if the girls would use the wax? I use a gently gold (not perfect, but way way way better than the time to wax and the stubble with shaving).

What I really want to try is the laser thingy but ha? who has the $ for that. If I knew it really worked though every female I know would be buying one. It would be a priority over food or meds. Seriously, we all hate the chore but we gotta do it.

  19. I was just talking to a co-worker about wanting to try to wax my legs. I guess I just need to do it. And my toes definitely need some TLC but I'm still wearing open toed shoes! And the Bones finale was amazing! I just hope they don't have the Moonlighting curse. I'm excited to see how it all plays out too!

  20. Funnily enough, if I try to wax my legs at home, EPIC FAIL! If I go to the spa and do it, smooth legs for at least 3 weeks! WT-?!

Your comment about the laundry made me laugh because I just did a "catch-up" day yesterday. Next time, I'll just yell, "I will prevail!" before running headlong into the laundry room! ;-)

  21. I might have shaved a week ago. Hahaha. I haven't done wax yet. Never blink. Keep 'em wide open!!! My oldest starts high school in August. When did that happen!?
