Check
Questions, this week from Impulsive Addict.  Check:
  1. If money didn't matter, where would your perfect vacation take place? Briefly describe. The best vacation I've been on so far was the one we took to Clearwater Beach and Disney World in Florida.  We had the fun of the beach for 5 days and then got to take Turbo to the land of the Mouse.  Overall it was wonderful.  I think I'd go back there with both boys this time.  Time to relax on the beach then go have a blast at Disney World.  The best of both world for kids and parents.
  2. What's a bad habit that you have (or had) that is/was hard to break?  I have yet to break the habit of twisting and tying knots in my hair.  It's a nervous habit I've had since I can remember.  What's funny is that Bruiser plays with his hair too when he's tired or upset.
  3. If you weren't on a diet or counting calories, what would you like to have for dinner tonight? No diet here, just watching the salt intake.  I would have lobster and a medium rare steak.  A baked potato with sour cream and butter and a streamed artichoke with balsamic vinegar to dip it in.  For dessert a slice of cheesecake with strawberries.  Shoot, now I'm hungry.
  4. If you had the chance to interview anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and what's one question that you would ask?  I would probably ask my father why he felt it was necessary to kill himself when I was a baby.  I would want to know about him and who he was.
  5. Describe yourself in 6 words.  Wife, Mom, friend, fun loving, determined, dependable

  1. My husband would have a similar #4. His mom killed herself when he was 16 and he still wonders exactly what it was...

  2. So that's how you get those nice curls? Maybe I should twist around my hair more often. :D

Loved the answer to No. 3, now here's a woman who knows exactly what she wants.

I would also want to know the answer to no. 4 for sure.

  3. One of these days we'll make it to Disneyland....that's why it's not my dream vacation I know it will happen :) As far as the Europe extravaganza that's a little more less likely to happen.
I always think it's kind of cook when people tie knots in their hair.
And all that food sounds too yummy for me! Want it now...especially the artichoke..it's been a while since I've had that yummy goodness dipped in butter!

  4. the next time you come to Disney give me a call, we'll meet for a drink!

I love a good steak and lobster tail and I'm a bit jealous that you don't count calories!

I have no words for #4. I don;t get what could be so bad that you would make others suffer so horribly. THe best man in our wedding committed suicide a few years ago and I just cannot help but to be angry with him for doing that to his precious boys!

  5. Next time you're in Disney, call me too! I think I'm on a first name basis with the Mouse.
#4 would haunt me for sure. Your dad missed out on knowing a wonderful person.

  6. Oh we love Disney World - I would live there if I could- right in the kingdom. Except, I'd have to bring my own coffee didn't have one decent cup the whole time.

My girl whose bday is today (24) does that with her hair- and she did it to mine when she was a baby- so much so sometimes we had to cut her fingers out she'd tangle them and they would turn blue.

Yummy meal, minus the lobster (no seafood for me)

So sorry about your mom- it's so sad that they can never tell us why.

Fun reading your answers, so glad to find your blog, it's wonderful.

  8. I cannot wait to take our kids to Disney World someday! We've always done Disneyland but it doesn't hold a candle to WDW!!

#4 made my heart ache for you. I can only imagine all the unanswered questions you must have.

  9. Disney World wasn't fun for me as a teenager. I missed my phone but I would totally go there now!!

It's so funny that we have the same bad habit. I should have picked that one instead of biting my lip. Twisting is a lot less gross.

I'll take a steak but make mine medium. Kthanks.

OMG. I don't like your #4. That's just super sad and makes me tear up. Poor girl.

Thank you for linking up again! Happy Hump Day!!!

  15. That does sound a like a fun vacation! That's one on my bucket list!

Our meals are almost the same. I went for crab and not lobster.

And I'm sorry about your dad. Suicide is one of the most selfish things a person could do. My mom's step dad killed himself a few feet away from his paralyzed wife. I just don't get it either.
