Talkin' Tuesday Randomness

Well let's random it up people.  Throw those random thoughts out there and call it a post--easy right?
  • We are creeping closer to trying the potty training thing with Bruiser.  I'm scared.  He has the idea, maybe, but the actual practice, not so much.  I think I keep hoping for magic to happen and surprise, he knows how.  I'm not having much luck with that one.
  • I'm going to put my recipes into a database in an effort to be able to start making menus we can follow.  This is called organization.  I'm not sure I'm ready for this one.
  • Mmm, wine.
  • I totally forgot about the monthly Vlog with Mamarazzi and Shawn.  I guess I'll have to try to do it tonight.  Things have just gotten so busy.  Lame excuse but it's all I've got.
  • I wear dish gloves when ever I do dishes.  They let me use hotter water and saves my poor thin nails from getting completely wrecked by the water.  I really hate to do dishes without gloves.
  • There is construction on the campus where I work.  There has been all summer.  The sound of large and small machinery is enough to give me a headache.
Well that's about it for my random.  Go see Stacy for more.

I'm also linking up for Talk to Us Tuesday with Shawn and Impulsive Addict.

  5. Oh potty training...how I do NOT envy you. I found it easiest to let my kids self potty train.

    MMMMMM, wine for sure!

I also need to do a vlog...well, a headless one, but still!

    Happy Tuesday!

  14. We are dish glove twins!!! I wear them when I clean too. I just don't like the drying effects of all the soap and cleaning products. That and I don't like getting my hands dirty.
Potty training is a big deal! Won't that be wonderful when it's all over with!

  15. Ha- disorganization is why we started the food blog- if you do get really organized I just put some basic free printable menu plan pages on there. There are a few to choose from- either blank or with our meals on them (and a few with just ideas).

I did the dish gloves, now it is hubs job since he was medically retired.

  16. I probably should wear gloves. The kids take care of most of the dishes. It's one of their chores. I pretty much get stuck with pots, pans, and large items.

Potty training.... I don;t miss those days at all.

  18. I'm SO impressed that you always use gloves! I am terrible, I just never think to pull them out. And of course as a result, my nails are a disaster!

I'm also SO impressed about the recipe databank. Man, that sounds like a lot of work, but a really good idea. Good luck.

  20. I'm sorry I missed you last week...life happened.

My fingernails are as thin as tissue paper so gloves would be a huge help I'm sure but I hate the way they smell and when water leaks inside it really grosses me out!

I was very lucky in the potty training department. Both of my girls were done in 3 days before their 2nd birthday! Does that make you hate me? I hope not!
