Talkin' Tuesday Randomness

Well let's random it up people.  Throw those random thoughts out there and call it a post--easy right?
  • We are creeping closer to trying the potty training thing with Bruiser.  I'm scared.  He has the idea, maybe, but the actual practice, not so much.  I think I keep hoping for magic to happen and surprise, he knows how.  I'm not having much luck with that one.
  • I'm going to put my recipes into a database in an effort to be able to start making menus we can follow.  This is called organization.  I'm not sure I'm ready for this one.
  • Mmm, wine.
  • I totally forgot about the monthly Vlog with Mamarazzi and Shawn.  I guess I'll have to try to do it tonight.  Things have just gotten so busy.  Lame excuse but it's all I've got.
  • I wear dish gloves when ever I do dishes.  They let me use hotter water and saves my poor thin nails from getting completely wrecked by the water.  I really hate to do dishes without gloves.
  • There is construction on the campus where I work.  There has been all summer.  The sound of large and small machinery is enough to give me a headache.
Well that's about it for my random.  Go see Stacy for more.

I'm also linking up for Talk to Us Tuesday with Shawn and Impulsive Addict.

My fingernails are thin and weak, but I found using Sally's Nail Life Revitalizer to be excellent for streghtening mine. I have to keep it on to protect my nails, though.Visit sallybeauty.com to check it out. I know you buy as well at Amazon. =D Thanks for visiting today!

Oh potty training...how I do NOT envy you. I found it easiest to let my kids self potty train.

MMMMMM, wine for sure!

I also need to do a vlog...well, a headless one, but still!

Happy Tuesday!

I really should wear gloves when I do dishes. My hands tend to suffer..

Good luck with the potty training!

I have a friend who has a very organized meal plan. I wish I could be that organized. Kudos to you for taking that step!!

I have a 27 month old who is almost ready - he's the baby of the bunch, so I have been a wee bit lazy about it!!

I hated potty training. It sucks so much!

Do you have those fancy dish washing gloves?

An organized system of recipes? Now that sounds impressive!

We are dish glove twins!!! I wear them when I clean too. I just don't like the drying effects of all the soap and cleaning products. That and I don't like getting my hands dirty.
Potty training is a big deal! Won't that be wonderful when it's all over with!

Ha- disorganization is why we started the food blog- if you do get really organized I just put some basic free printable menu plan pages on there. There are a few to choose from- either blank or with our meals on them (and a few with just ideas).

I did the dish gloves, now it is hubs job since he was medically retired.

I probably should wear gloves. The kids take care of most of the dishes. It's one of their chores. I pretty much get stuck with pots, pans, and large items.

Potty training.... I don;t miss those days at all.

mmhmm wine indeed! :-) I hate the sound of construction. It's the worst!

I'm SO impressed that you always use gloves! I am terrible, I just never think to pull them out. And of course as a result, my nails are a disaster!

I'm also SO impressed about the recipe databank. Man, that sounds like a lot of work, but a really good idea. Good luck.

i need to wear gloves when i'm cleaning and doing dishes. who am I kidding, I don't do dishes, my dishwasher does. But definitely when cleaning!

I'm sorry I missed you last week...life happened.

My fingernails are as thin as tissue paper so gloves would be a huge help I'm sure but I hate the way they smell and when water leaks inside it really grosses me out!

I was very lucky in the potty training department. Both of my girls were done in 3 days before their 2nd birthday! Does that make you hate me? I hope not!
