Tuesday Random

Random Tuesday thoughts, brought to you by Keely, The Unmom and Me.  Well at least the thoughts here are from me.

And to start the madness off:
  • I give you Baconnaise.  Personally, if I want a sandwich to taste like bacon, I'll just add bacon.
  • You haven't lived until you've been ordered about by a two year old.  Bruiser is very demanding nad pushy.  Sit!  Snack!  Bath!  All commands I've gotten in the last 24 hours from Bruiser.
  • And then last night I went in to check on him after he was asleep and I found him in his crib, using his pillow as a blanket in just his diaper.  Now I put him in bed, in his footie jammies, head on the pillow, covered by his blankets.  The kid is Houdini, and he moves around a lot getting to the sleep stage.  It worries me when he finally decides to escape the crib.  He's going to fall out of bed a loot.
  • I'm looking forward to toe baring season.
  • Turbo can clean his room, and do a go job of it.  Who knew?  Of course now he all neat freakish.  We shall see how long that lasts.
  • We watched Alice in Wonderland this weekend--the one with Johnny Depp.  I liked it more than I thought I would.
  • Migraines suck!
  • Oh, and today is Mardi Gras!   Party it up everyone!
With that I think I'm done, but head over to Keely's place, she who hosts this random stuff, and check out the other random happening on her part of the webs today.

    1. Baconnaise is yummy if you have no bacon, but yeah, if I wanted my sandwich to taste like bacon, I will add bacon.. :P Nothing beats the real thing.

My 3 year old has only been 3 for one week and he is the bossiest person I have ever known! I guess toddlers are like that, not just mine.. :D

I wish my 9 year old would be neat freakish even if it's just for a day.

Happy Tuesday! :) Oh and I'm going to give you linky love over at my site cause you were my first commentator.. :)

    2. Yeah, I'd just add bacon too. I mean, what if you're not in the mood for bacon and the only mayo you have is baconaise?

I always loved being bossed around by my 2 year old. And now she's had 13 years to perfect the bossiness, so just kill me now.

I hated it when my kids learned to crawl out of their cribs. Now they make tents you can put on the crib to keep them in. Wish they had that when my kids were little.

Toe baring season! Yay!!! Unfortunately though toe baring season comes with shaving your legs season, and I hate shaving my legs.

Maybe Turbo can teach my Midget a thing or 2! Send him on over!

I so want to see Alice in Wonderland! Too bad I had to cancel Netflix. :(

      Happy Tuesday!

    5. As a former kid who used to flip flop all over the crib (and then later fell out of bed a lot), don't worry- they're built resilient. :)

      Happy Fat Tuesday!

    8. I ended up liking Alice more than I thought too. I was impressed with the story and that it wasn't just Tim Burton's normal crazy world building. Happy Thursday!

    9. Sprite wants to see that Alice in Wonderland. Um, yeah. Don't think so. Not for another couple of years until she's able to distinguish between reality and Johnny Depp.

    10. Baconnaise scares me. Not because it looks nasty, but because I'm afraid I might want to drink it straight out of the bottle.

    11. Your two-year-old is demanding a bath? Sounds like a win to me!

    12. now i can't think of anything except how I want a bacon sandwich.

    13. Princess Nagger would probably just want bacon - hold the sandwich. ;)

Do you think Turbo could teach Princess Nagger how to clean her room? Maybe some of his neat freakish will rub off. As long as her tornado mode doesn't rub off on him. ;)

    15. Baconnaise... that just seems all kinds of wrong to me.

Ugghhh the boddy toddlers... mine can be that way too!!! Little stinkers!

Crazy sleeping kids, mine can go in 12 different directions in a matter of minutes. Ohh & seriously how do they get the footie jammies off??? My 1 1/2 yr old has been doing that lately too.

Yes, bring on the sunshine. I want flip flops too!!!

Hope your Migraines give you a break already :)

    16. lol. My kid moves around a LOT in his sleep too, but he only fell out of the toddler bed a few times. Their little sleeping bodies learn where the edge is :)
