This week the questions come from Shawn:
{1} What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Are you an eyes or a smile person? Maybe another body part? I notice face shape and expression. I like a guy to look cute of course, but a pleasant expression usually means a nice guy.
{2} If a movie was being made about you who would you like to see cast to play you? And would your movie be a comedy, drama, romantic-comedy, action film or a horror movie? I have no idea who would play me. I'm not that up on who's who in Hollywood--maybe Reese Whitherspoon? One of the actresses I do know. The movie would definitely be a comedy, cause if I don't laugh sometimes, I'd cry.
{3} Does your high school yearbook include a senior comment section? If so share what you said about your future goals. Have you met those goals? If you do not have a yearbook just share what your goals where when you were 18 and if you have met them. If you’re brave enough include your Senior Picture! No comment section in my year book. My goals at 18 were to get out of my small town--3200 people--and off to college. I got out, but the town I moved too was only marginally bigger--27000 people. But I have my honey and family so it's all good.
One of my senior pictures. |
{4} What latest trend simply baffles you? Twitter. I just don't get it. I don't see the appeal of tweeting. I'm hopelessly behind the times. Also smart phones. I just don't want to be that connected.
{5} When you walk into a room how do you present yourself? Do you walk in with confidence and command the attention of others or do you slink in and do your best to go unnoticed? I don't slink in, but I do tend to not call attention to my self in a crowded room--I have one or two confidence issues.
I don't get twitter either, and yet I tweet! Weird huh?
ReplyDeleteLoved the picture of a picture!
I never would have thought of expression but you're totally right. You can just see nice and happy can't you?
ReplyDeleteI could see Kelly Mcgillis playing you, back in her Top Gun days, it must be the curly hair.
I love the asymmetrical hair style! Well did you get out of that small town?
I have a Twitter account but I too just don't get it.
You're a perfect blend of shy and confident!
Thanks for linking up again this week!
I didn't understand twitter for a long time either. I don't say much but I follow a lot of people. Some of my friends in other cities use it to show me links. happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI don't get Twitter either - I barely get Facebook. I only use that to keep connected with a couple of people.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is such a pretty blond in that picture, and it look so soft, it's like princess hair, haha
Wow! That hair definitely took me back to the days. 3200? Yikes.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your posts and answers! I think your high school picture is super cute!! Thank goodness we all had similar hair back then so it looks normal to me! ha! Glad you picked Reese.. she could be any character and be awesome!!
ReplyDeletethanks for linkin' up!
Great picture! I found myself agreeing with all the answers especially no. 4. :)
ReplyDeleteI have a twitter account but honestly, I have no idea how to use it lol!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Mamarazzi. Do I see shoulder pads in that sweater? LOL! I don't get Twitter, either. I mean, come on. I already have a blog. And a Facebook page. People already know too much. Do they really need more information? I think everybody has confidence issues - and if they say they don't, they're lying.
ReplyDeleteHa. Okay. I see the face too, i know what you mean. I'd want Sarah Michelle Gellar to be me. We were born on the same day and I love Buffy. I kid you not, my senior quote said "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful, hate me because I know it" (I thought it was hilarious). Twitter is for businesses and bloggers to connect primarily. I'm starting to notice people in bars using twitter names instead of phone numbers when it comes to connecting too. Finding a way to talk to someone (publicly or in private message) without giving out too much info and when I walk into a room, EVERYONE knows it :) I'm sunshine
ReplyDeleteI love a funny guy so I agree with the expression!
ReplyDeleteI love me some Reese! Excellent choice!
OMG! I'm digging that senior picture!!! That style is coming back! Just you wait!!
I am on the twatter or twitter and I don't really get it either but I just use it to stalk celebrities. I talk to them like they're my BFF's. LAME.
I think all girls have confidence issues, don't we? I mean most of us. I get it. I'm glad you don't slink though.
Thanks for linking up! You're amazeballs!
HAPPY HUMP DAY!
I have Twitter, but I seriously do not get it. And now there is Four Square. That one is scary as it gives location. I had big hair and a big pink sweater too. With shoulder pads! haha.
ReplyDeleteThat pic is ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteReese Whitherspoon......great pick!
ReplyDeleteI love your Sr. pic :)
Love that senior pic. I wore my hair asymmetrical for a short time in high school. I had it cut on a weird angle and did this comb over thing. It was scary!
ReplyDeleteI have those same confidence issues.
I just consider twitter "mini blogging" though most of my tweets are boring. I tend to follow a lot of celebrities just for the fun of it.
What was our obsession with side ponytails and only pulling back one side of our hair in the 80's? I used to do that!
ReplyDeleteGreat answers!
ReplyDeleteI used to be anti-twitter too...now I'm strapped with my iPhone and couldn't live without either! lol.
Yeah for a non-twitter girl...though I do like my smartphone :)
ReplyDeleteI am just young enough or was unhip enough that I missed the big hair days :)
I dont get Twitter either. I have an account...for the second time. And Im never on it. I just dont get the appeal
ReplyDeleteI pretty much gave up on Twitter after all the celebrities got on. Meh.
ReplyDeleteThis was so much fun! Great answers! OMG You dont want to see my high school photo, yikes!
ReplyDeleteI love your senior pic! Awesome do!!
ReplyDeleteI have Twitter and I'm slowly getting addicted.....I tend to like new electronic trends - not so much the fashion ones though...
~Becca
I don't get twitter either! And I completely understand laughing so you don't cry- I feel like that summarizes my days lately :)
ReplyDeleteI tweet sometimes, but my kids told me that's lame. They are all about Facebook. So apparently Twitter isn't big among teenagers. Or at least not mine and their friends.
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought to say expression but oh my gosh you are SO right! If a guy looks cocky or conceited, you totally think he is a jerk!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shawn, Kelly McGillis could totally play you, well in her hot days when she was in Top Gun.
LOOOVe the senior pic. The feathered bangs... ahhh the good ole days. Did you ever wear banana clips? Please tell me you know what I am talking about. What year did you graduate???
Twitter... yeah me either, I just don't get it. Isn't it basically facebook??? I dunno cuz I don't do it. Although, I totally disagree with the smartphone, I LOOOOVE mine!!! It isn't an iphone, but it is still pretty darn cool!
Those bangs! How did you see? :-) I love the crossed arms pose too.
ReplyDeleteExpression-that is so true! If a guy looks way too into himself it's a huge turnoff.
I finally got a smart phone two days ago. It does so much I can't figure it all out!
ReplyDeleteLove your 80's hair! I used lots of hairspray to try to get mine big, but it's so thin, it never really worked! LOL
