Monday when we went to get Bruiser from Papa's house there were of course the usual scattering of toys that little kids make after a day of fun. Nick was helping to straighten up and picked up a package of markers--Papa was quick to tell us that the markers were washable. I had no idea why he was so keen on us knowing those markers would wash off.
Later I found out exactly why we needed to know those markers were washable.

I colored my toes Mom! |

Aren't they pretty? |

I had a rainbow in my socks. |

Looky what I did! |
After
having a small heart attack admiring his handy work and sharing with his dad and snapping a few photos, we went to the sink and washed most of the washable marker off.
Papa told me later that Bruiser wanted nothing to do with those markers until Papa showed him it would wash off his hands. Then Bruiser proceeded to color his toes. I think he may need bigger toes to color on.
Might I suggest he color Papa's Toes...larger canvas, way more fun, less work for mommy in the long run.
ReplyDeleteHaha - I must say he did such a fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of color and he "stayed in the lines" quite nicely!
LOL he did a good job!!
ReplyDeleteThat's some pretty nice work!
ReplyDeleteI did read an article this weekend about how the new Crayola colored bubbles are leaving nasty unwashable stains on clothes and other items. :-)
Awww, thank god they are washable!! Can you even begin to imagine if they weren't washable???
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin' cute. A memory to cherish forever.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Let's just hope he doesn't get his hands on markers that don't wash off.
ReplyDeleteVery colorful! You have a budding artist on your hands. :D
ReplyDeleteI wish they had made washable markers when my kids were little. My youngest loved to color on the walls. Although, she usually skipped the markers and went straight for my lipstick. I lost count of how many times I had to paint over my brown lipstick on my white paint.
AWESOME...LEAST IT WASNT PERMANENT MARKERS ON WHITE WALLS TO "OUTLINE" THE MIRROR...LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is so darn cute! He did a great job.
ReplyDeleteSO cute! Thank God for washable! I have a girlfriend whose gorgeous little daughter once decided to go all Braveheart, and colored her entire face blue!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny!
ReplyDeleteWashable markers and crayons = best invention ever. My son decided to color in his hand the other so he would see how he would look as an alien. The things they come up with!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are adorable! My girls have done the very same thing... only not always with washable ones. LOL
ReplyDeletethat is so stinking adorable. and he did a great job.
