The monthly Vlog with
Shawn and
Mamarazzi!
I'm a first timer with this whole vlog thing. I don't think the video is the best quality--the software is not the best. Just bare with me and don't laugh too much. I spend a lot of time looking at the cheat sheet and not at the camera. Enjoy my attempt at vlogging. Oh and there is a lot of background noise--small boys make lots of noise--I'll try to cut that out next time.
And next some pictures of my favorite room. Next month I'll try to do the whole thing via the vlog. Hey I'm trying! My favorite room in the living room. I love the color and the way it is set up--although I am getting itchy to rearrange the furniture for the summer.

This is a wall of pictures in the living room. |

Another wall of pictures. |

The chair, couch and newish ottoman. Oh and two of the best decorations in the house! |
Way to go...you did just GREAT! I'm trying to muster up enough courage to give this a try myself...we'll see! I really enjoyed hearing your accent...and everyone else's! No worries about the sound of your little boys playing in the background...that's LIFE for ya!
ReplyDeleteYOU DID a great JOB!! You don't have an accent!! Love that picture of Bruiser!! He's so cute! Nice room too!
ReplyDeleteNice! I don't even have a camera so I never even could Vlog, though I think we might need one soon since my parents got one in order to Skype with the kids.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no need to be hard on yourself - you did just great. I barely registered the background noise - that practically counts as silence around here!
ReplyDeleteyou did awesome!!! and not really an accent. I love your picture wall and book shelf. i think we have that same ottoman.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful eyes! And no accent, like me. Yay! ;)
ReplyDeleteI do love the bookshelf/hearth photo...that's a great idea.
We call the toilet paper thing 'tee-peeing' someone's house. Love the way you have the pics arranged on your walls, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteGood job girl. Love the picture wall!
ReplyDeleteYay, Vlog! I didn't find the background noise distracting at all. I wouldn't worry about it.
ReplyDeleteThat big smile your son has in the last picture is so cute. :)
I thought it was great!! You did awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't have an accent at all! Just like me. Man. We're boring. LOL!
awesome!! i love that you played!
ReplyDeletei also love the boys in the background, sometimes my house is WAY to quiet!
i don't here an accent. are you originally from Wyoming?
and i agree those two little boys ARE the best decorations, but i do love how you have your pictures displayed.
YAY you joined in! I was all jittery & excited when I finished my first one, I don't know why stupid little things like that get me all worked up. HA!
ReplyDeleteYou did GREAT!!! I never look at the camera either. I need to work on that. Nope, no accent just like me. We are boring huh - or maybe we are the ones with accents & all those Southern girls are the boring ones LOL.
LOVE your wall of pictures!!! I have those in my house too. AND you are SOOOO right, those are two pretty great decorations :)
I get the clues from the words that they're trying to listen for slang or regional dialect. You sound like a Floridian to me. :-)
ReplyDeleteNope no accent detected!! Great job!
ReplyDeletesoda-pop! that's what i say!
ReplyDeleteYAAAAY for your first vlog! No accent but we said a few things differently. I loved the kiddos and hubby in the background. That's called REAL LIFE!
ReplyDeleteYou did great! Loved seeing you "live"!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'm so surprised that everyone calls it a pee-can. I thought that was a deep South thing. Here in Texas, most of us call it puh-con with the stress on the con part.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go make sure I've friended you on Goodreads (pretty sure I have, but I do tend to forget things! LOL)
You did good!
ReplyDeleteI love hearing how people say all the different words and what they call things! It's so interesting!
Love hearing the boys in the background!
I have to agree...I don't hear an accent either. You pretty much said everything the same way I would have! I'm from New Hampshire and only ocassionally does a new england accent come out! You were brave to do the vlog thing...I really dislike the sound of my voice on video...and seeing myself speaking is rather creepy. So I don't expect that I'll be vlogging anytime soon :-)
ReplyDeleteYay! I always wondered what you sounded like!
ReplyDeleteI think you're the first video I've watched, where "pecan" was pronounced differently.
