We Want To Know Wednesday--Friendship

This is the first We Wnat to Know Wednesday.  It is hosted by Mamarazzi, Impulsive Addict, Janette, and Seriously Shawn.
This week's theme is friendship.  Head on over to any of the hosts and get the questions, answer them and then join the linky party at any of the hosts.

{1} Do you make friends easily?  In real life, no.  I have a hard time putting myself out there.  It's way easier in line.  I think I'm not nearly as shy on line as I am with real people.
{2} What 3 qualities are a must in a friend? A) they must be kind, B) fun to be around, C) loyal in the hard times and the good times.
{3} What makes you a good friend?  I try to be fun to be around, loyal, and supportive.
{4} Have you ever met a bloggy friend in real life?  Yes? tell us about your meet up. No? who would you love to meet? Not yet.  I would love to meet some of the people I've met on line, but living in the back of beyond does not bring people here that often, and we don't travel long distances all that often.  I would love to meet Jen from Sprite's Keeper, Mrs. Badger from Out of the Boondocks into the Burbs, Mamarazzi, Brandy from You don't Know.... and so many others.
{5} Who is your best friend? Tell us about them.    I couldn't find a better best friend than Nick.  He is truly my best friend.  We are so much alike and we have so many interests that are the same.  We are so in sync that we almost daily say the same things at the same time.  It's gotten so frequent that even Turbo will say jinks when we say the same thing at the same time.  What better thing than to be married to your best friend.  The fact that he is easy on the eyes has absolutely nothing to do with it.
My honey.
Two fools in love.

  1. Plus, ya know, when you're married to your best friend you have the added "benefits", no?
    Okay, sorry.
That's sweet! I like to think of my husband as my best friend too, but I do still love some good girl talk ever once in a while.
And yes, I think making friends online is usually a bit easier. And it makes so many diverse people accessible from your living room! How awesome is that?!

  2. I'm the same way with making friends, I'm much more outgoing online than I am in person. Plus, I'm rather antisocial.

You've been tagged at my blog!

  3. You...shy? Really? I find that hard to believe. But it is easier to be a different person online.

I totally agree with your 3 qualities. If they're not fun to be around, I wouldn't want to hang out very often. Loyalty is another great quality.

I HAVE met Brandy!! Are you jealous?? She's awesome!

Your hubby is a cutie! I'm glad he's your BFF! =)

Thank you so much for linking up!!

  4. 'back of beyond' is a new fun way to say it! I've always said the boonies.. hah!! Glad you come out of your shell to be social online.. I think that's great! Even though I live in the city... I am a hermit and would rather be home and turn down a request to go anywhere just bc its my comfort zone! Thanks for linking up!

  5. It's way easier to meet people and be social online. I find I'm less intimidated by people when there's a computer monitor between me and the person!

Everyone's best friend is their husband, clearly there's something I'm missing out on!

  6. I was a lurker for years before I started blogging. YEARS!! I didn't feel comfortable with even meeting people online, online! Imagine what I'm like in real life!

Thanks for stopping by to say hi.

  7. you want to meet me?! I want to meet you too!! I think it's hard to make such great bloggy friends and not get to do the IRL thing.

  8. You never, ever come across as being shy in your posts, so that surprises me. I was a shy child growing up but, over time, I've learned to break free of it and put myself out there. You can't beat having a hubby as your best friend...I feel the same way about mine!

  9. Being loyal in the good times and the bad is very important in a friendship.

  10. It's so much easier to be yourself or let loose online. You don't have that awkward face to face "what if I don't know what to say" stuff.

    I like it though

  11. That is so sweet that your hubby is your best friend!

I can't be best friends with my hubby because he thinks I'm crazy and rolls his eyes at me.

  12. I'm taking comfort in reading so many of these today that say people don't find it that easy to make friends - I thought I was a backward goof in college for not being able to make friends easily. It's nice to know I'm not alone!

  13. that is great that your hubby is your best friend, mine is too. beside even better than the fact that they are easy on our eyes, is the fact we have to spend so much time with them, so we might as well like them

  14. AWE! Super sweet stuff about your hubby! Cute pics.

I've met Brandy and she's amazeballs! We live like 40 minutes from each other and work in the same city.

  15. You are TOTALLY right about the hubby being your best friend. My hubs & I will call each other or text each other at the same exact time. It is a little eerie sometimes.

  22. It makes me so happy that most of us bloggers are married to our best friends. It's such a great feeling isn't it? I want to meet some bloggy friends in real life some day too. I think I'd want to start out with a group meet up because I'd be crazy scared. I love that I can censor myself online. I don't have a good enough filter in real life. ;-) Hell I don't have a good enough filter online!

  23. Awww, you and your hubby are adorable :)

  24. Being a friend and loyal in the hard times and the good times. SO IMPORTANT!

So many people have their hubby's as their best friend. I love it, it's so refreshing! Does that sound corny? IDK, without friendship a marriage will struggle.

    Thanks for linking up!
