Confession--It's good for you

Photobucket

Well let's confess again.
  • I hate being sick.
  • Not being able to breath really sucks.
  • Coughing is worse.
  • Although my abs have had a great workout.
  • It's time once again to do battle with the laundry.
  • I've had several successful battles in the last few weeks
  • Let's hope I can keep up the winning streak
  • My floors, they are another story.
  • The living room carpet could use a shave
  • The kitchen floor has the odd sticky spot
  • And I'm not going to think about the bathroom floors.
  • I hate cleaning.
  • That's why we have people over
  • We clean for them.
  • It really is true that the house never looks cleaner than when someone comes to visit.
  • Bruiser still has his beloved Suckie.
  • Getting sick really threw my plan of breaking them up.
  • Both of us got sick and Bruiser got super attached to the stupid thing
  • So I caved.
  • Maybe next weekend.
  • I really could use a week on a beach somewhere
  • With umbrella drinks
  • And lots of sunshine.
  • Maybe a cabana boy or two.
  • Who's with me?
Go link with Glamazon and Mamarazzi and confess your heart out.  Bare your soul, or just let us in on a couple of juicy tidbits--you'll feel better after, I promise.

  2. I'm down with a week on a beach, I'm down with a YEAR on a beach. All inclusive, not from my wallet of course.

Sickness would not be allowed though, hope you start feeling better soon!

  3. Ugh. I hope you feel better soon! I hate cleaning too. I especially hate it when you fall behind, and have to do the normal stuff PLUS get caught up on all the stuff you should have been doing.
I'll be rooting for you in that battle!

  6. I would join you on that beach in a heartbeat and I haven't even been sick ... just sick of the rain. The sun finally came out here and, in that vein, I hope that you are feeling better. Happy Easter.

  7. I was dreading cleaning this morning, and totally thinking I wish we had hardwood floors. Not like it'd be any easier to clean but at least it would be nicer.

  9. I hate cleaning every Monday but nothing feels better than when I crash Monday night in clean sheets and a sparkling house!

A suckie? I've never heard that before. When I took my girls paci away it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be and they were both very attached. One in the mouth, one in each hand.

  22. I shall tell you the story about my husband's grandmother trying to get him to give up his pacifier.

He was 2-3 years old, and she tells him about a little boy whose family can't afford to buy him a pacifier. Would he be willing to give his up.

My husband gives the pacifier to his grandma, who puts it away in her purse. Problem solved.

About 30 minutes later, he stops playing, looks around for his pacifier. And when he doesn't find it, reaches into his pocket and pulls out a spare.

He's been boy scout ever since. =)

    Have a fabulous weekend.

  24. I wouldn't mind being sick if my cabana boy was there to fluff my pillow and get me the good tissues with the lotion.

  25. Thank you so much for stopping by. I am with you I hate cleaning and I feel that when it takes me hours to finally get it all done and then my children within minutes make the biggest mess out of it..and then is when unexpected visitors show up..why couldn't they come just a few minutes earlier???
I hate being sick...but the worse is when I see my children not being able to breath...:(
    Have the best weekend!
