I Confess

After the week I've had, I'm oh so happy to see Friday.  No day is more appreciated. Now let's get teh confessing out of the way so we can enjoy the weekend.

  • We have not planned a birthday party for Bruiser
  • His birthday is Tuesday.
  • We don't know but one kid his age, so we aren't really able to plan a party.
  • We will get him presents and have the grandparents over.
  • I just hope it's enough.
  • We'll do better next year, I hope.
  • It's laundry weekend again.
  • It's been getting all whiny.
  • I hate whiny laundry.
  • I've gotten good feedback on my talk.
  • It was well received.
  • Now to keep from freaking out over the next talk I have to give.
  • How many will I have to give before I don't feel sick prior to the event?
  • More than I want to give I'm sure.
  • I am so ready for the weekend.
THe Friday Confession party has moved from Mamarazzi to Aubrey at High Heeled Love. Go check out her confessions and see what everyone else is confessing.  ANd if you feel like confessing, she'll love to have you join up.

  1. Having a laundry weekend sounds like a good idea. Of course this weekend I wouldn't have any laundry to DO because Thing1 left ALL his clothes at his mother's house. I am still flabbergasted at how that happened. The boys are with us 90% of the time yet the only clothes in OUR house for him were the ones he wore home yesterday? Ugh

  2. I think the break point for me was about 5. After that it got much easier. Now, I hardly prepare. I write an outline and maybe toss up some goofy slides and I'm done. I'm not a natural but I can fake a good game.

  3. It's hard to plan a birthday party when there are no guests to invite. I'm sure that if there's cake and presents, he won't notice if there's a "party."

Glad that your presentation went well.

Thanks for linking up for the Friday Confessional party. Have a fabulous weekend.

  4. We're not planning anything with other kids for Isaac's b-day but my parents, sister, and brother-in-law are coming into town. He's 3 so it's not too big of a deal. Glad your talk went well!

  7. It seems like all my weekends end up being laundry weekends :-) But I'm not sure what makes it whiny though! Have a great weekend!

  9. Most of the parties I had as a kid were just with family and grandparents. I didn't start having friend parties until I was like 11 or 12.

Man that laundry-it's the devil! My apartment complex flooded and our laundry room is out of order-which makes life soooooo difficult. I either have to go to a creepy laundry mat, or go over to my grandmothers to do laundry in her ancient dryer that takes 2 rounds to dry anything... haha.

  11. Laundry laundry laundry BLAHHHH! It never ends does it.

I couldn't public speak, if it is planned I would have a panic attack. Although, if it wasn't something planned & I just stood up & made a fool of myself I don't think I'd panic. Is that weird?
