Christmas Break 2012

Time to run a Christmas recap.  This Christmas break was fun for everyone. Since Nick and I work at a university we had the same break as Turbo did. It made for some fun times with the boys and many good memories were made.
We had some build up:
He absolutely fell in love with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.  He can almost sing the whole song.

Christmas hats for the boys.
Our lovely Christmas tree.

Playing in the snow--Turbo tried for a snow fort.
Then Christmas happened:
Santa's gifts for Bruiser.

Santa's Gifts for Turbo--with a thanks for believing note.

Mom and Dad's Stockings.

The tree, again with the haul of presents under it.
There was one other gift that I got that wouldn't fit under the tree.
Nick built me a coat closet.
I will show more of the closet process and the finished product--when we get it finished, we are painting the whole room and it needs some more work as we get things done. Since we haven't done anything to this room since we moved in, it needed the attention.
Christmas was a blur of video games, drawing, reading (Good Eats and resultant cooking), time spent with family, and all sorts of borderline cabin fever related stuff.  The weather got cold and we couldn't send the boys outside to play and burn off energy. I'll admit that while going back to work yesterday was not easy, not having to entertain small boys all day had it's appeal.
