Time to Confess It All

So, it's Friday and that is the best day of the week.  Well actually Friday at about going home time is the best time of the week.  But Friday is a great day all the way around--we get to confess our secrets with Mamarazzi!
And here goes:
  • I used Nads Wax Strips and I love them. (The link takes you to them on Amazon
  • I have to say they worked great.
  • Smooth legs and no mess or fuss about it.
  • It did hurt a bit, but not as much as the Sally Hansen strips did.
  • I found out I have an allergy to penicillin.
  • I have been itching madly for the last week.
  • My house is a disaster.
  • I'd really rather ignore it than start cleaning up.
  • However the stores of underwear are running low and I'm starting to think the floor in the living room is carpeted with dog hair, cat hair and Bruiser's toys.
  • Clearly something must be done.
  • So laundry ho!
  • I'm going to get personal with the vacuum cleaner and maybe find the floor again.
  • I hate the floor in my kitchen.
  • there is no getting it to look clean.
  • It's a nasty patterned linoleum tile.
  • I'm just waiting for the day when I get a new floor in there.
  • I live with a nudist.
  • He's only two, but still.
  • The kid would shed his clothes at any opportunity.
  • But then he's pretty cute.
OK, your turn.  Confess it up, link it up, and go see the other confessions.

    1. Why is it that I couldn't comment on your blog this week and now I can? Have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on your linoleum? I'm finding surprising uses for them and linoleum seems to be one of them...

    2. When my son was little and he'd run naked, we'd say, "You have skinny legs!" (He did.) When he got a little more verbal, I realized he thought skinny legs = naked!

      Time to reteach...

    3. Personally, I think that cleaning is highly overrated. I too have one of those NASTY linoleum floor dealies. It gets to a point I think that it will never look clean. So I just try to overlook it.

I've been thinking about using some sort of wax thingie - did it make you cry? I'm afraid I'd try it and get like one strip done and that would be the end of it.

    4. Gotta check out those wax strips...
And my house is a disaster too. Except I don't have any kids. What does that say about me? *sigh*
      Have a great weekend!

    5. :) you're comment about the nudist cracked me up! My house is tile, so the pet hair is more like tumble weeds when I open the doors and windows...the broom and I have a date this weekend.

    6. Our kitchen floor is like that too. No matter how much you clean/mop it it still looks grimy. I might have to try Jen's method and use a magic eraser!

    7. Are you sure you aren't talking about my home? It's a mess too. I so don't want to clean either. But then, I just had a baby, so there is that excuse. LOL!
Have fun cleaning! Pump up the tunes and clean away!

    8. I need to clean desperately too. And it's less from having a newborn and toddler run my house and more from having my husband home! :)

    9. lol, when you said nudist I thought you were going to say your husband. Mine is a total nudist. I've managed to convince him to wear undies on the furniture though! :-)

I actually like doing laundry when there is something good on tv. I just curl up on the couch, fold and catch up on silly daytime tv.

    10. Ugh, I hate when the floor never looks clean no matter how hard you try! Our tile is cracked so it has a rough time too1 :(

I need to get personal with my vaccuum cleaner as well...

    11. A nudist! You crack me up! Hope you get that laundry done or you guys will have to go commando. No one would know, tho. LOL Those Sally Hanson wax strips... did you read my confession a couple of weeks ago? The first time I tried one (on my eyebrow) it worked great. The second eye was a disaster! I'm still healing! LOL Maybe I'll check out the other brand, but I'm sceered!

    12. Let us know how long the waxing results last, I'm curious.

I have been tempted to go buy a pack of underwear just to avoid laundry more than once.
