Confessing...

...and oh man do I have confessions.
It's that time of the week.  Time to confess and make it a clean slate for the weekend.
Here goes:

  • I really enjoyed the A-Team movie.
  • But then, I have fond memories of the TV show.
  • I got  really good wake up call yesterday--thanks Nick!
  • I'm tired of cooking dinner.
  • I won't stop, but the repeating task is getting old.
  • It's tiresome that you have to eat every day.
  • I got laundry done early this week.
  • Go me.
  • Actually Nick asked me to.
  • He was running low on socks and unders.
  • Time to buy some more unders--I like to make it at least two weeks between laundry runs.
  • Nick has enough to go two weeks as long as he doesn't change his shorts too often.
  • He's been doing work around the house and it's been hot--necessitating more showers.
  • More showers, more changing of clothes.
  • I need to pad the numbers of unders and socks.
  • No one wants to put on sweaty socks.
  • I can't believe that the majority of this post has been about laundry!
  • I have a sad, sad life.
  • I admit I giggle every time I walk past this sculpture on the college campus where I work:
  • Well, they did put it in the middle of a college campus.
  • Yes, I am in touch with my inner twelve year old.
Now go see Mamarazzi and see the other confessions this week.  It's fun and makes you feel refreshed for the weekend.

  1. I giggled when I saw the photo. First thing I did when I got married was teach JR how to do laundry. I haven't done laundry since. I'm not even sure I know how to use the washer but I could figure it out if I wanted to...I just don't want to. :)

  3. Sounds like so much of what goes on in our house. Your life isn't said, it's married...

As for that, well we'll go with photo and play it safe, I'm sure your inner 12 year old and mind would have a good giggle over that one.

  4. Hee hee I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is a 12 year old deep inside! And laundry is the bane of my existence. Seriously if I can make it two weeks it's a bittersweet day because I didn't have to do laundry for two weeks, but I've got TWO WEEKS of laundry to fold and put away! It never ends!!! GAH!!

  5. Ok, that is not as bad as the man humping bear at Western Washington University. Seriously, google it. It's crazy! I went to school there!

  6. I confess that if I had to walk by that statue every day, I would giggle too. Awesome. ;)

  8. So glad I'm not the only one who behaves childishly with things like that! The 18th hole where I play putt putt has a striking resemblance as well, and it always gives me a good chuckle ;)

  9. Oh man, I feel like the majority of my LIFE is about laundry, and I only have one kid! AND I haven't done Jimmy's laundry in years - long story!

  10. Socks are the biggest pain the butt to do huh! So annoying!!

I was giggling at the picture before I read that you giggle every time you see it. I was thinking it was going to be some special statue & I thought I'd feel like an ass for thinking that but knowing you think the same thing I feel much better LOL

  12. Are you kidding me? Every TWO weeks? We do at least one or two loads a day, it feels like laundry is continuous around here. But, Jamie usually cycles it through and I get stuck putting it away.
