- giggles and laughs from my boys
- hugs from those same boys.
- petting the cat--she insists sometimes and it always perks me up.
- Getting out past the city limits sign.
- seeing a household chore done, that I didn't have to do.
- uninterrupted reading time.
- shopping
But if I need a laugh I turn to the wide internet to find things like LOLCats, LOLCats after dark (this one can get raunchy, definitely not for kids), and Damn You Autocorrect.
If we all just need to decompress with funny, inane TV my go-to show is AFV. Something about watching idiots fall down, small kids crash or do other funny stuff just makes me grin. It makes Turbo laugh his head off sometimes. Even Nick has been known to laugh out loud at some of the clips on AFV. We will also watch World's Dumbest... Criminals, Partiers, whatever. There are some truly stupid people out there and it can be fun to laugh at them and think that I could never be that dumb.
Go see Jen at Sprite's Keeper for more fun and silly spins--it's guaranteed to make you smile--maybe even laugh out loud.

Uninterrupted reading time is my idea of heaven.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of watching pratfalls on TV (I may be the only person you know that hates the 3 stooges...) but when they happen in real life? Hysterical.
ReplyDeleteSprite likes AFV too. She calls it the "funny show".
ReplyDeleteSometimes, I can laugh at it. Most times I just groan. I guess the more adult version of that show is Tosh.0 which John thinks is hysterical. :-)
