Christmas is Nothing Without the Tree

Linda at Second Cup of Coffee is hosting a get together to show off our Christmas Tree and special ornament.  I don't have a picture of my special ornament but I do have a picture of the tree.

There is our tree in all it's glory.  We use colored lights when we have a real tree but this little prelit tree is working out alright since time and weather conspired against us in the real tree department.  At least I don't have to remember to water this one.
I'll try to add a picture of a special ornament later.

  1. Our tree is up but not a single ornament is on it yet!

  2. Pretty tree! We've gone to white lights too but I miss the colored. I have two trees and next year I think I'm going to do the one in my sunroom in all blue ornaments and use blue and white lights. I probably need to write it down because that's the kind of thing that sounds great now but I'll probably forget it by next December!

  3. Pretty! I like your star. Can I have it? I'm going star-shopping this weekend since someone threw out the ugly paper angel that someone's grandma gave us. *Whistles*

  4. Beautiful! It remains to be seen on whether or not our tree will go live. Parents will be in town this weekend. Maybe the Jews will do it. :-)

  5. I'm hoping to be able to leave a comment; I couldn't get it to work earlier today. Thanks for participating. It is a sweet tree, and I love the skirt; I've never seen one like it.

  7. Very pretty tree. I'm all over the fake ones. The real ones are too much work. Great idea for a post too.

  8. Love how the 2nd pic really shows through with the lights.

I just took a pic of my tree too. Besides, I love all of my ornaments. You can see lots of stuffed animals in ours though. :)

  9. So pretty when it's all lit up. The blue ornaments really stand out.

  10. I prefer real trees too, but a pre-lit fake is the next best thing :) If it weren't for that we'd have no tree at all!

Love the blue ornaments! I've decided that if I buy any new ornaments I want to get blue -- my favorite color :)

    Merry Chistmas!!!

Your tree skirt is pretty too. Did someone make that for you?

    Merry Christmas!

  12. Such a pretty tree! I don't think ours is going up this year, we just don't have room for it.
