Writer's Workshop--Smiles All Around

Mama's Losin' It

The Prompts:
1.) Describe someone in your life who you might not know as well as you think you know.
2.) Write a poem about a memory you sometimes wish would disappear.
3.) Write a list of 10 things that are sure to put a smile on your face when you are not happy.
4.) People would be surprised to learn that…
5.) A snappy comeback!

Hmm, which one to choose--I think I will go with Number----3

I always need to remember I have lots to smile about.
  1. Bruiser always greets me at the door with Hi! Hi! Hi! when I come home from work.  It makes me smile to think about it.
  2. There is this story about lizard birth.  You really must read it.  It is hilarious.
  3. An impulsive hug from Turbo can make my day.
  4. Imagining the beach in Clearwater Florida at low tide--chasing hermit crabs, live starfish, and snails.  So much fun.
  5. Fresh warm cookies.
  6. Shopping. Especially for shoes.
  7. Reading a new book by a favorite author.
  8. A bath, good book and a glass of wine.
  9. Spending time with my husband--without the kids.
  10. Watching my boys (big and little) all rough housing and having fun.
So pick your favorite prompt and then link up over at Mama Kat's place.
