The Prompts:
1.) Describe someone in your life who you might not know as well as you think you know.
2.) Write a poem about a memory you sometimes wish would disappear.
3.) Write a list of 10 things that are sure to put a smile on your face when you are not happy.
4.) People would be surprised to learn that…
5.) A snappy comeback!
Hmm, which one to choose--I think I will go with Number----3
I always need to remember I have lots to smile about.
- Bruiser always greets me at the door with Hi! Hi! Hi! when I come home from work. It makes me smile to think about it.
- There is this story about lizard birth. You really must read it. It is hilarious.
- An impulsive hug from Turbo can make my day.
- Imagining the beach in Clearwater Florida at low tide--chasing hermit crabs, live starfish, and snails. So much fun.
- Fresh warm cookies.
- Shopping. Especially for shoes.
- Reading a new book by a favorite author.
- A bath, good book and a glass of wine.
- Spending time with my husband--without the kids.
- Watching my boys (big and little) all rough housing and having fun.
I love reading a new book by my favorite author too! Although sometimes I find myself comparing to his/her other works.... :)
