Confessions for Friday

So it's only the best day of the week.  That's right it's Friday.  And even better this is a long weekend!  We are ducking out of work early to go get the rest of our kitchen cabinets and backsplash and stuff.  I'm not excited at all. Nope not me.

  • Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to cleaning up the kitchen, once I have a kitchen again?
  • I'm sad the summer is slmost gone, but really looking forward to the fun of fall.
  • Halloween is only two months away.
  • As I've been reminded by Bruiser, who wants to be a blue Ninja.
  • Turbo had been getting his teenager on the last few days.
  • He's a bit early, but he's been doing a really good imitation of a sullen teen when he doesn't get his way.
  • We are in so much trouble.
  • Someone else is doing the cooking and dishes tonight.
  • After a week of making do without a sink when making a dinner, I'm over it.
  • Dinner at a restaurant, yes please.
  • It's tough dropping Bruiser off at the babysitter.
  • He's going through a phase where he cries and lays on the guilt.
  • I know he's fine after we leave and he has fun there, but still...
  • He will get over it, eventually.
Short and sweet this week.  I really can't think of much else, but come back on Tuesday.  There will be pictures of Kitchen loveliness.
For now go see Mamarazzi and link up your own confessions.

  1. I can't tell if you changed your background or not? I like it. I would like to not make dinner this weekend, unfortunately I don't know if that will actually happen for me.
    Have a wonderful holiday weekend.

I don't blame you-I really love the no dishes of going out to eat sometimes.

  7. As odd as some may find it, I actually enjoy working in the kitchen. :) I don't mind doing dishes and putting stuff away. I like the clean look and smell of a kitchen AFTER I've tornado'ed my way through it!

  8. I hated it when we remodeled our Kitchen...loved the Kitchen afterwards but it was hard to function while getting it done.

Enjoy your dinner... my heart to you for teenagers...or even pre-teen. I swear 13 is the worse year...that and their Senior year.
