Writer's Workshop--the Family Photo

The Prompts:
This week’s assignments are:
1.) What would you change about your life if you could?
2.) I wish I would have…describe a time when you didn’t take action, but later wished you would have.
3.) A collector you know.
4.) Photographs can turn a house into a home. Share a photograph that is not on your wall, but should be…if you weren’t so lazy about actually putting it there.
5.) Write a list of 100 things you want to do before you turn 100. Otherwise known as a “bucket list”.

OK so I chose Number four.
We spent a Saturday last winter printing pictures to go on our walls and it was lots of fun to pick and choose and then determine where the pictures should go.  We put up pictures of all of us but not very many of us together.  It's hard to get my boys to sit still together long enough to get a picture of them.

This picture shows how much Turbo loves his brother.  Bruiser adores Turbo and I love this picture because they are together.

Here was our Christmas picture that never made it out of the computer.  We all look OK for a home picture.  It is not so easy to get everyone smiling and still at the same time.  We need to get a family picture up on the wall because we don't have one of all of us yet.  I need to work on that.

Now go see Mama Kat and check out the other Writer's Workshop posts for this week.

  1. OMG! Those are great photos! I am such a horrible person - I don't think we have one single picture of all 3 of us together as a family. I'm jealous of you...

  3. I hear ya! Kids and pictures don't mix. Or at least ones that are not spontaneous! I've got 5 of those buggers and last time we tried for a fmaily picture it was pretty stressful...but worth it! Now, to find some fun pictures to put on our walls. Thanks for the idea!
