Beauty is so very surface, but it is the ticket to get people to look closer and see if the person behind the beauty is a truly beautiful person.
I see beauty every day when I look at my family. As exasperating and frustrating as they can be, there are just as many moments of laughter and fun. that is the beautiful thing about family--that balance.

ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky to live in a place that is so close to so much natural beauty. I guess there are a lot of beautiful places around LA, but getting there is so much work! I once asked somebody why anybody chose to live in Malibu - traffic is awful, and the place is constantly plagued with wild fires and mudslides. And the person said that you become a beauty junkie - just being able to get up and look out the window and go "Ahhhhh!"

I would love to live close to mountains! We are in the very flat, very plain Midwest, but I still love it. I guess we can find beauty no matter where we live!
