Random Travel Thoughts

We got back this afternoon.  There are a few observations I have from travelling with little boys.

• The miles seem longer when two boys get whiny.
• The miles go faster when mom is the "book on tape".
• Frequent stops are necessary for both little boys and mom and dad's sanity.
• When put to the test, both boys are pretty good in public situations.
• A hotel with a pool makes anything better.
• The trip home was better than the trip there.  Both boys were more used to the car then.
• We need to make sure the car seat is high enough to see out the window.  Being able to see makes the ride easier.

There are more but I'll save them for another post.  Maybe the one where I tell you all about the adventures of the Jones family over Spring Break.
