Random Tuesday Thoughts--Talking About Anything

So it's Tuesday.  Time to be all random and talk about stuff.  And maybe show off a picture or two.

My goof ball.

Guinness.  The dog, not the beer.
Captain Cool.

  • The countdown is seriously on at our house.  Turbo is also totally lobbying for a gift to open Christmas Eve (or before if he can talk us into it).  Bruiser wants to open one too, but he knows he has to wrap some and put them under the tree.  I foresee a separate shopping trip with each boy coming soon. If we do decide to let them open a present I"m not sure if they're gonna like the conditions--mom gets to pick the gift they get to open.  I'm thinking pajamas.
  • I showed a map of the US with the things that were going to come and get us a couple of months ago.  Wyoming was cursed with Truckers.  I have now found a map of the scariest things in each state.  Some of them aren't that scary.
  • I'm just about ready to watch Christmas movies.  Since my boys will want to watch them over and over again, I have to be careful when I introduce them.  It's really easy to OD on Christmas movies.
  • Our work Christmas party is on Thursday.  At a local guest ranch/bed and breakfast.  The food should be fabulous.  A chance to dress up a bit and eat a meal someone else prepares, can't argue with that.
  • One more full weekend before Christmas.
  • Nick went to see our chiropractor yesterday.  He had dislocated a bone in his ankle.  He will need a couple of more visits, but he is getting better after an adjustment.  There is much relief here that it is nothing more serious.
Now go join Stacy for all the random you can stand, and maybe some more.
And go see Shawn and Impulsive Addict for Talk To Us Tuesday.

  3. Sprite got Santa Buddies for her birthday. She now has that terrible song memorized. For that reason alone, I cannot watch a Christmas movie.

  5. Love seeing pictures of your boys! :)

That Christmas party sounds wonderful, I hope you have a great time.

I'm whittling away at my Christmas movie list. The only main ones I have left to watch now are Miracle on 34th Street (I always watch it on Xmas Eve day), Its a Wonderful Life, and Elf. Oh, and Home Alone 2, because I fell asleep during it last night! haha!

  6. Super cute pics! I love the doggy's name! HA!

Ok, so I checked out the scary list. Killer Bees in Texas? For real? I lived there for 7 years and never knew that. And Oklahoma has Indian Burial grounds as the scariest? Oy. There are a lot of scary things here...like all the meth heads and swingers. Or the maximum security prison that people can escape from. Now THAT is scary!

Thanks for linking up with us!! =) Have a great day!

  10. Bruiser's picture is hilarious! And Leo has been lobbying to open presents since I've put them out. Now the tree is up so it's even harder for him to see them under there.

  14. Ouch! Dislocated ankle doesn't sound pleasant, but I'm glad it's not broken.

PJs would be great, then you'd have them in cute pajamas for pictures when they open presents on Christmas.

I miss that feeling of excitement and anticipation at Christmas. I can't wait to share that with my kids.

I miss work parties. That's the one fun thing about working. Have fun with it!
