Friday Confessions

Time to confess with Glamazon and Mamarazzi.  Time to get it all off your chest, if only for the next week.  It's sort of like going to the priest, but there is no penance involved here.

So, I confess:

  • I'm super nervous.  
  • I have to give a short presentation at work today.
  • I hate getting up in front of everyone.
  • I start talking to fast and then forget half of what I want to say--even with PowerPoint slides.
  • I'm looking forward to Tuesday.
  • An old friend is coming to visit.
  • I confess I haven't vacuumed the living room in almost two weeks.
  • I'm scared to sit on the floor. 
  • The dust dinosaurs might get me.
  • Or the cat/dog hair will.
  • It's supposed to snow this weekend.
  • I'm sort of looking forward to it.
  • I have become the fun police at our house.
  • It's just because I know someone is going to get hurt.
  • Listening to laughter is fun.
  • Listening to screams and crying, not so much.
  • So I am the fun police--you know, to keep things from going to far.
  • It doesn't always work.
  • Little boys have already learned to ignore the voices of higher authority.
So, if you have something to get off your chest go see Glamazon and Mamarazzi.  They will listen and only snicker into their sleeves--not laugh in your face.

      I'm sure your presentation will go fine! I used to hate public speaking but three times a year, I have to talk in front of about 150 people and now I'm totally fine with it. Good luck!

      I know how you feel about presentations! I had to give one two days ago, and I'm so glad it's over. Good luck with it! And I hope my dinosaur dusties don't get me!

      BOO for public speaking.

      YAY for old friends visiting!

      We've had enough snow. I'm glad our forecast is sunny and warm(er)...for a while at least.

      Kiddos learn to ignore voices of authority at such a young age. *sigh* I tell Isaiah that I wouldn't have to yell, if he would just listen the first time. Gah.

      Glad it's not only my kids that have learned to ignore that voice.

      Good luck with your presentation! I always talk too fast too, so usually in my notes will literally write (slow down) every once in a while :)

      Good luck with your presentation! I hate giving them too.

      It will be nice if we get some snow to cover the icky black stuff that we have now. Though I was really psyched the snow was melting the other day and don't want too much more.

      I am sure you did great! More snow... say it isn't so! Finally it looks like Spring has arrived here and I couldn't be happier. My Rebel keeps reminding me it isn't official until March 21st but I am ignoring her.. hey she does it to me.. so it's payback! Well girl hope you have a great weekend :)

      I'm the party pooper in my house too. Today, my oldest got hurt real bad doing something he knows he shouldn't. I didn't feel bad for him. And might have scolded him for goofing off and getting hurt. That's why Mama told you not to do that, you can get hurt. He was mad at me and went and took a nap with Grammy. (Grandparents are visiting this weekend)

      I can't even remember the last time I vacuumed. LONG! I am not good about getting up in front of people either. I hope it went well for you. Why do boys ignore the higher voice of authority???
