Friday Confessions

Time to get it all off your chest and confess with Glamazon and Mamarazzi.

So, I confess:

  • I will admit that I don't have a phone that will autocorrect.
  • Those phones scare me just a little bit.
  • OK, maybe a lot.
  • But then, Nick and I only got cell phones about three and a half years ago.  I needed one for the consulting work I was doing.  Yeah, we are way with it.
  • My dishes are sitting in the sink right now.
  • I'm ignoring the laughter procrastinating on doing them.
  • They aren't going anywhere.
  • The dish fairy hasn't found her/his way here yet.
  • Same goes with the Laundry elves.  Stupid lost elves.
  • They need to update the GPS I think.
  • Valentine's Day doesn't mean what it used to.
  • Now I'm just happy to spend time with the hubs after the kids are both safely tucked into bed, cause finding a baby sitter for a Monday night--so not happening.
  • We are supposed to get to 40F this weekend.
  • It'll be balmy enough outside to sunbath.
  • At least it'll seem like it after the temps we have had.
  • Except now all the snow will turn to ice.
  • Lovely.
Now go confess it all and check out the other confessions.

  1. I was thinking about Valentine's Day this morning and how it's just a Hallmark Holiday. I see it more now b/c I have to get cards for my 3 year old to give to his classmates. I wish we all could just be loving to each other regardless of the day our country set aside. Sigh. Happy Friday!

  2. So many people have been missing those dish fairies lately that I am beginning to think they don't exist. We aren't going out on V-day either, instead we are going to have a Fancy Nancy style dinner at home with the kids and we will decorate and all dress up... But well you have three boys, so maybe you could have a no utensil style dinner :)

  3. I hear ya on the dishes and laundry. I'm staring at a house that has been wrecked within the past 24 hours by two toddlers. I'll get to it eventually, lol. I'm having too much fun find new blogs :D

I miss Valentines Day. We haven't done anything since we got married. Well, I take that back - we tried to go out to eat one night without reservations .. in tulsa you don't do that. It was a.w.f.u.l! I look forward to 8pm for our alone time! I think my hubby is going to make me dinner this year, again, which is what we usually do and i'm happy not to cook!

  4. We decided that we are skipping Valentine's Day this year. We are focusing on getting out of debt so we can buy a house. It actually makes me a little sad because Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday. I love everything about it. I love being in love with my hubby too!

    Great confessions, Happy Friday.

  5. Hope the "dish fairy "and the "stupid elves" find their way soon. No one deserves to have dishes laughing at them. lol

Have a great weekend. Enjoyed your confession

  7. I hear on you the V-day thing. Just to sit in peace is good enough!

My phone is of the ancient variety as well. I hate that I'm behind technology, but yet I'm not sure I'm ready to move ahead.

  8. I agree about Valentine's Day. What's all the fuss for anyway? It's not the same after you're married with children for a while. And that dish fairy needs to find her way to my house, too! I think she's up to something.

  9. Could you send the dish fairy over here when she's all done? Kthanks.

  10. Oh, the laundry fairy. I swear my husband thinks a magical creature works behind the scenes to get all our chores done...because he surely doesn't lift a finger to help! LOL

  11. After our 2 feet of snow, we're finally getting warm weather next week! I can't wait! Today's 35 degrees actually feels like a heat wave.

We probable won't do anything on V-Day either. It's kind of lost it's hype and appeal. Maybe dinner and a movie?! We're SO exciting.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  13. Yeah, no elves here, either. Where the heck are they?

  14. I waged war with my kitchen today. I lost. Now it's mocking me.

  15. My husband thinks our sink is magical: he puts dishes in and when he comes back, they are gone. I hate doing dishes and doing laundry too. I would rather scrub toilets. Have a great weekend!

  16. I wish I could spend Valentine's Day with my hubby. But he'll be out of town. :(

The laundry and dish fairy need to come to my house. Actually, the cleaning fairy needs to come.

I have a love/hate relationship with my auto correcting phone. LOL!

  18. Valentine's Day doesn't do much for me.... I can't imagine not having a cell phone until 3 years ago, although I am ready to "lose" my cell phone now. Dirty dishes in the sink give me stress.

  19. Ahhh smart phones I ♥ mine!
I think your fairy & stupid elves got lost along with mine. Damn things, where are they when they are really needed???
I'll be hanging with my ladies VDay. Hubby is working so nothing too exciting going on here.
