Friday Confessions

Glamazon and Mamarazzi are hosting Friday Confessions.  See the cute button?

So let's see what I have to get off my chest this week.
  • There are days when I really feel it would be better if I just went back to bed.
  • I don't understand why when boys play there is so much growling, howling, and shrieking involved.
  • Bumping and the occasional thump I get.
  • Boys are just so noisy.
  • It makes me nervous and I become the fun police.
  • I'm working on finding my happy place when they get going, but I'm too afraid of the scream of pain that is inevitable.
  • I confess that while I have some good fiction and mystery books at home in my to be read pile, I'm stuck on the trashy romances.
  • What?  They're a fun read.
  • I'm looking forward to the Superbowl.
  • I like the Steelers, but also like the Packers, so really I just hope the game is a good one to watch.
  • And I really hope the commercials are better than last year.
  • Cause really--I just watch for the commercials.  I don't know that much about football.
  • We are having hot wings, a veggie tray, and what ever else Nick decides he wants.  Something appertizer like.  We like to munch through the game.
And with that I think I've gotten all I need to off my chest.  Have a great weekend!

  1. Boys do seem to be loud; they like sound effects. My 9 month old gets louder the louder and more obnoxious my three year old is. Makes for some awesome headaches. LOL.

  2. I hate being the fun police too. But John refuses the job, and the dogs have to live, so...

  3. My husband and I were commenting about the boys playing outside yesterday. It sounded like someone was dieing! Why are they so loud?

The commercials for the superbowl have to be better this year. They weren't great last year. We'll see!

  4. Every day I battle with not going back to bed after I get home from dropping the Midget off at school.

I love the Packers, I so hope they win.

    I love the commercials too.

  5. So with you on the commercials isn't that why most of watch the Super Bowl?

To see who is going to sing and what new advertising genius has come up with to make us want their product and hopefully laugh as well!

But I am so SICK of the Godaddy commercials I mean enough already!

Hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

  6. Fiction is all I ever read. I'm especially addicted to YA fiction...what does that say about me? Hmmm.

I'm excited about Super Bowl, but mainly for the food and commercials...and the half-time entertainment. I love Usher and the BEPs! I'm not a big Packers or Steelers fan. I think I'll just wear yellow and claim to be rooting for whatever team is winning.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  7. My boy is the loudest human alive so I feel your pain. I think there is already going to be a really good commercial this year. Look up VW Passat Darth Vader commercial. It's really cool. It's on my FB page if you want to check it out also.

  10. I'm with you on the commercials. They better be good this year! You think boys shrieking is bad... try having girls. You wouldn't believe how high pitched they can get... like dog whistle high. Oh My Goodness my ears are bleeding now just thinking about it.

  14. I always worry a lot more when they suddenly get all quiet. Quiet means sneaky and sneaky is never a good thing.

I'm a Steelers girl all the way. Go team!

  15. Boys are very noisy indeed. But so are girls. The squeal and giggle and carry on and are LOUD. Haha.

Reading? What's that? This is my reading now. Sad isn't it?

    Have a great weekend.
