So here are all my transgressions from the last week.
- I have decided that little boy toys are out to get me.
- I have stepped on lots legos recently.
- I have even found the little suckers in the wash.
- I'm kind of over Legos.
- I have been really good about doing the dishes at night.
- This scares me a bit--am I getting all efficient?
- No, just finding the motivation. Yeah, motivation.
- Don't worry, I'm sure my old friend procrastination will come to visit soon.
- Anyone got any good books to recommend?
- I'm trying to find my reading mojo again.
- It got lost with my scrap booking mojo.
- I have a migraine. I hate migraines.
So with that I will move on to see the other confessions today. You should too.
Trust me you will miss those stupid lego's sooner then you know. I remember thinking "I can't wait until those are OUT of my house" now I wish I could step on just one or two of those stupid things. I love to read. What kind of books do you like? I might have a few suggestions. Well hope the migraine goes away. That sounds horrible. I never have really had one so I can only imagine how awful it is. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI have vowed that every toy I step on will be immediate;y thrown in the trash. Course, mine aren't Legos but still..
ReplyDeleteAh, Legos...the bane of my existence. Luckily, with the introdution of a DS in this house, the Legos are a bit more scarce.
ReplyDeleteI've lost and found different types of motivation lately too. I just wish that procrastination bug would lose my address, because I HATE when he comes to call again!
Fear not, motivation is fleeting. I hope your migraine is too!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy when my girls outgrew legos.
ReplyDeleteKim Harrison has a great series called 'the Hollows.' It's about witches, vampires, werewolves etc, if you're into that sort of thing. I love her writing.
I feel for you on the migraine thing. I get them too and they suck. I hope yours goes away soon.
Migraines are the worst. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteStepping on Legos in bare feet is probably the worst ever. I haven't had Legos in the house for over 10 years and I still remember that feeling.
Uggghhh little toys that darn near almost pierce through the bottom of your foot. Around my house it is mostly polly pockets or some stupid ring or something. I have been known to scream really loud then pick it up & throw it completely across the room. Yes, Yes I know, I need help LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to say... hope your migrane goes away. Boooo to Migraines!
ReplyDeleteNote to self: DO NOT BUY LEGOS.
ReplyDeleteI have zero motivation on most days. It's ok.
Books--depends on what you like. I'm reading the Hunger Games trilogy right now and It's great! I'm not a sci-fi girl but this one is pretty good. I can't seem to put the book down!
Migraines can go take a hike. I hate their face!
Have a great weekend~
Oh dishes... need to do those too. The last blog I just read reminded me I have a load of wash that needs to go in the dryer, yours reminded me of the dishes.
ReplyDeleteWell at least all of my blog reading is making me think about these things right?
oh i hate migraines...The Help is a really good read, i can't remember the author off the top of my head and my book is WAAAAAAY over on the other side of the house. i am lazy, google it!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I hate migraines! Last week, Monday through Saturday, I had a headache. It started with a migraine that never completely went away. This past week has been much better. Hope yours gets better.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you find your scrapbook mojo again. Me, too. I haven't scrapped in weeks. I want to, but I just don't. I guess cuz I know I'm going on a scrap weekend soon.
And if you need a good book, how about The Kite Runner or Angels and Demons? Or Grisham's new one, The Confession? I enjoyed all of those.
If you like fantasy then read the Sword of Truth series. It's 11 books and really great!
ReplyDeleteLegos are not my friend either.
I so totally feel your migraine pain. It is not fair! I hope yours went a way. I am keeping mine at bay.
ReplyDeleteHa! Love the lego days. They multiply like rabbits. I have been reading Committed and The Last American Man by Elisabeth Gilbert who wrote Eat, Pray, Love. Excellent books. Both very different.
ReplyDeleteI have been the same way with the dishes lately! Weird!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW your pain regarding the Legos. Our house has been taken over by Legos...especially since Christmas and Isaiah's birthday. We've been infiltrated by Legos.
ReplyDeleteSo, what books have you read recently? I might have some recommendations.
Sorry about your migraine. They suck.
