Summer has decided to come visit us. We skipped over spring and went straight to summer. Thunder storms and all. Unfortunately the mosquitoes have come too. And today we have rain. Means we don't have to water but also means the boys are stuck inside. There are only so many cartoons you can watch. And I'm not really the crafty type. It's gonna be a long summer.
Sunday night while consoling Reece to get him back to sleep, his diaper leaked and he peed on me. Wonderful to have to change the baby and yourself at 10:30 at night.
And the laundry won this week. I have all the clothes clean but not all folded or put away. The towels are still dirty and waiting. They lie there in the basket accusingly and wait. I swear they are taunting me. I'll get them- they can just wait until I'm good and ready to wash them.
Took Turbo to the doctor and it was confirmed--he is tall and skinny--all knees and elbows, bony ones at that. Amazing that I have a seven year old son. I swear just yesterday I was not sleeping and stumbling around like a zombie as a new mommy. Now he is seven.
I saw the grossest thing on TV--IHOP has a bacon and egg cheesburger. That is wrong. Eggs don't go on burgers, ever. Bacon yes, eggs, no.

Doesn't that just look awful? Fried eggs and hamburger--yuck!
Ok, that's my random for the week. Go see Keely and add your own random to the list.
It looked really good to my dieting self till you said it was an egg. Barf. That is wrong. And here I thought it may have been some melty cheese.
ReplyDeleteEwwww! That iHop burger does not look appetizing or appealing at all!
ReplyDeleteMother Nature has been wishy-washy with us this year - from frozen tundra mode to summer heat and now she's backed off a little for actual spring like weather. I'll see if she'll send you some, too!

I don't even want to think about the calories in something like that. Gross.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on having a 7 year old... time flies
I've heard that Eggs on Hamburgers is very popular "down under". I wouldn't knock it until you try it. think of the hamburger as similar to a sausage paddy, then the egg and the bacon? it's not that different.
ReplyDeleteLaundry sucks! I have a 2 loads waiting to be folded and put away, a load waiting to find the dryer, and too many loads waiting to find the washer. The laundry loads and the men in my life will have to wait til I am good and ready too.
ReplyDeleteLaundry totally sucks! More often then not it wins at my house. Mmmm I LOVE an egg on my burger! I guess I am weird??? : )
ReplyDeleteHe he, John was just telling me how delicious an egg on a burger sounded. :-)

ReplyDeleteLaundry does suck and with all the people you have I am sure it is never ending!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I am not sure about the egg on the burger. Red Robin has something like that too. :/
I hate laundry. Mine tends to sit around until my closet starts to smell and then I finally get the motivation to do it.
ReplyDeleteI had a heart attack just looking at that burger. Talk about cholesterol! You're right, eggs just don't belong on burgers.
We have consistently had thunder storms every single afternoon around here. Plus I can only imagine what hurricane season has in store for us this year.
ReplyDeleteEggs on a burger? My husband would totally volunteer for that. Me not so much. Although bacon does make everything good. ;)
