Meet Me on Monday

Java has Meet Me on Monday.  It's a get to know you kind of thing. I mean, no matter how well you think you know another blogger, what do you really know about them?
Anyponder, here are her questions:

1.  Do you eat Sushi?  No way!  I live entirely to far from the ocean to really trust sushi.  ALL fish is flown here, so is not truly fresh.  I might try it in a place where the fish can be fresh, but until then, nope not gonna do it.
2.  What kind of bath soap do you use?  Oh I have issues with bath soap.  I used to use Avon Skin so soft bath bar, but they stopped making it.  I have sensitive skin--the wrong stuff makes me itchy.  And I can't use Bath and Body works stuff.  I'm still searching for a soap that doesn't make me itch.  I might have found one0Olay, but I'm reserving judgment for a while longer.
3.  How often do you talk to your Mom?  Almost daily, she watches Bruiser three days a week and we often talk on the days she doesn't, but that doesn't mean we have to talk.  Love my mom to death, but she can make me crazy at the drop of a hat.
4.  What TV shows do you watch on a regular basis?  We watch Dirty Jobs, Bones, Mythbusters, NCIS, Pawn Stars, Swamp Loggers, Billy the Exterminator, What Not to Wear, and when we had BBC America, Top Gear.  Yeah the list is a bit guy show heavy, but then I live with lots of guys.  And we can't forget Scooby Doo in just about any form.
5.  Did you start Christmas shopping yet?  Yep.  I've shopped for Nick, Turbo and Bruiser.  I start collecting things about September/October.  Makes for less stress in December.  I just have to finish shopping for the boys, and take Turbo shopping for stuff for Nick and Bruiser.  Nick and I will have one major weekend when we will knock out most of the shopping.  Then Nick will spend the last weekend before Christmas shopping for me.  He's a typical guy and puts it off until the last moment--usually.

  1. Guy heavy, yes but they let you watch What Not to Wear??? Few shows are banned in my house, but I can't watch that, Bridezillas(I have a weird fascination with that) and the Duggar's (whatever number they are on and counting).

  2. Oh, I really wished I had started Christmas shopping. But I've been putting in over 60 hour a week since Oct 1 and don't have the time.

My anniversary is tomorrow and I haven't even had the chance to buy anything for that yet! Yikes!

  3. Great answers! Try the Purpose bar. It is usually with the other cleansers on the cosmetic aisle.
Thanks for your visit. I sent you an email.

  4. I have skin issues too. But only in the winter. I wish I were one of those people who could do my shopping early. I'm just not that motivated.

  6. I am so wanting to put up my Christmas background but I'm waiting and the wait is driving me crazy. Anyway, I enjoyed reading your answers. I don't watch those shows but I do enjoy my evening TV.
I have 25 people that I shop for that must be mailed out of town. I have to make a point of doing all gift cards next year. Then my immediate family here and a few friends. I am getting done! Have a great week.

  7. Wow! Yeah your shows are definitely guy heavy. I have wanted to watch Top Gear. A guy friend recommended it to me. We catch Dirty Jobs occasionally, but usually when we stumble on it.

    Have a great week!

    Have a great week!
