Monday Minute

Monday Minute

Time again for the Monday Minute with Heather and Melissa.  They invited Jessica of Stilettos and a Fishing Pole to host with them.  and now on to the questions.

  1. Who was your high school sweetheart?  I didn't have one.  I was a late bloomer and didn't really like my high school and home town all that much.  College was way better and I'm still with my college sweetheart.
  2. What is your favorite vegetable to eat?  I love artichokes. Steamed then dipped in butter or balsamic vinegar--yum!
  3. Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween, if yes, what do you have in mind?  WE get an invitation to a Halloween party/birthday party for one of Turbo's friends from school so this year we are going to dress for it--I'm going to be a gypsy, I think.
  4. Are you a reality show junkie?  If so, what is your guilty pleasure?  I'm not much for reality shows.  I like some of the ones on Discovery--Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs but my guilty pleasure would have to be What Not To Wear.  I used to love to watch Clean House--just so I don't feel so bad about my house--it's lots better than the ones on the show.
  5. What year did you graduate high school?  I graduated in 1991.  My 20 year (gawk) reunion is next year.  Still on the fence about going.

  3. Too bad Clean House isn't on anymore. It used to give me incentive to clean mine. Now, the Hoarders homes are scaring me more than inspiring me.

  4. I love What Not To Wear, but I haven't seen any new shows on lately...what's up with that?

  5. I dressed up as the Bride of Frankenstein one year. Scared a lot of small children but totally worth it.

  6. My 20th was 2 years ago. I didn't go. I had no desire to. I felt good about my choice. It was still hard to live with it being 20 years though. :/

  7. YUM! Artichokes! Love them. We even tried to grow them in the garden this year but I don't think they like our climate. ;-)

  8. Never tried Artichokes, gonna have to put that on the list of things to try.
I like Hoarders, it makes my skin crawl soo much I can't help but find something to clean.
