- Well I knew spring was only teasing us. We got snow off and on yesterday and it got cold last night. Down into the 20s cold. The thing is we will probably got more of this before we can really be sure spring is here.
- Has any one watched the new show on Discovery, Unchained Reaction? We have and we like it, but I'm not sure there isn't some bias in the judging. In the three shows they have had the different special effects teams have won each time. It's a little disappointing. I'm rooting for one of the other teams to win at least once.
- We keep wondering what to do for Bruiser for Easter. A kid can have only so many balls. At least it's getting warm enough to go outside and play with the sports balls he has. Baseball really can't be played inside.
- Strawberries and cream is quite tasty and a great way to get the boys to eat strawberries, even Mr. Picky aka Bruiser.
- I just realized, I need to get an egg coloring kit for this weekend.
- I love my Kindle, but I'm a bit addicted to perusing the free offerings. I check it at least once a day, sometimes more. But I prefer to check them on the computer, not my Kindle.
- Boy these randoms are boring. Just goes to show how much of a life we don't have when Nick is away.
OK, so there you have it. My randoms for the week. Maybe next week will be better. Go see Stacy for more random Tuesday link ups.
Easter with snow? At least you won't worry about the innards of the eggs getting spoiled. :-)
ReplyDeleteI bought a dyeing kit but I doubt we'll do very many. My kids aren't fond of hard-boiled eggs! (But they will eat strawberries.)
ReplyDeleteThe weather in Europe has been wonky too. I put my long sleeve clothes up last week after 5 beautiful days and the next day is was 28. Nice.
ReplyDeleteWe almost never dye (I almost spelled it die) eggs for Easter. I love deviled eggs, but really, I would eat them all and weigh 500 lbs, so we refrain from even doing it. Mmmm...now I'm thinking about deviled eggs.
Bruiser won't eat strawberries?? That's amazing. When I buy them Indy eats them all before I even get them out of the grocery bag. He eats anything though.
Oh, Kindle, how I love thee. I have a K3 though, so no ads. If I had one with ads I'd be obsessive about it too. Me+Kindle=true love
Does it make me a bad mom to admit I'm happy we no longer dye eggs? It was just not my thing!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll be gald when your man gets home, remember to treat yourself to something nice, you deserve it.
Snow? I guess I shouldn't tell you I have a sun burn then.
Thanks for linking up, we love your randomness!
we are ready to put in our garden. We didn't have any winter at all. And it's time to open the pool! The minute I buy tomatoes and peppers and pull off that cover the temp will drop, just watch. That's the kind of luck I have!
ReplyDeleteMother Nature's been wickedly wacky, hasn't she? Though I better not tell Princess Nagger about your snow, she'd be jealous. All we have to show for the cold snap is cold. And colds. ;)
ReplyDeleteLittle Dude wanted a Sponge Bob Easter basket, so that's what he's getting - even though it's recommended for ages 8 and up, the few toys included will be fine - or I'll regret the decision. ;) Princess Nagger's basket is a whole other thing - I'm still creating her desire for a Warrior Cat one. :)
I keep forgetting to check the free offerings on Kindle - and I'm with you, I prefer to peruse them via my computer vs. on my actual Kindle. ;)
Princess Nagger and the Ruptured Eardrum
Love the random! Strawberries and cream sounds good about right now. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's much easier to check the free stuff for the Kindle on the computer! LOL
ReplyDeletei'm with you i have no clue what to get little man for easter
ReplyDeleteSNOW?!? Oh my. That is crazy! We were swimming last weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love looking at the free books for kindle too! You just can't beat free. And they've been pretty good too.
I'm still working on Emma's basket. It's stressful! Hahaha!
Thanks for linking up Vandy! xoxo
