Some good pics. I love Black Velvet. Walking in Memphis was new to me but, in the years I lived in Arkansas and visited back home in New York State, I would pass through on the interstate and never stop. I should have! These one-hit wonders came out when our daughters were born ('88 & '90). Thanks for sharing some mewsic from your high school days! Have a tunetastic week, my friend!

ReplyDeleteI did a Battle of the Bands on "Iko Iko" a while back (https://thesoundofonehandtyping.wordpress.com/2016/07/01/battle-of-the-bands-iko-iko/). That's a venerable old song, and a good cover of it. Nice set!
