Another Week

Yeah, so we thought that we were done with fate socking us in the gut.  Not so much.  Last week, Nick was taking Bruiser to school.  He had Bruiser riding on the luggage rack of his bike.  Bruiser's heel got caught in the spokes and he has a nasty abrasion on the inside of he left heel.  Like layers of skin bad. I'm totally done with fate's rollercoaster. I want off the ride.

So yeah.  Things really aren't settling down here.  Nick will have to be content with getting his elk this year with his rifle.  All the necessary components didn't line up right to get an elk during archery season.  Although he did see the proper species of animal each time he went hunting.  Not necessarily the right gender, but the right species is a step in the right direction.
